Stay Home, Stay Safe | The Lockdown

First time in life, even of my parents. This type of situation occurred in which govt. had to impose lockdown. The virus is strange, enters the human being without letting him know, and when he does get to know, the only options he is left with is "to pray" and follow precautionary measures.

Also, some hash tags are trending everywhere like:
  • #stayhomestaysafe
  • #covid_19
  • #corona #ghrperahona
  • #lockdownpunjab
  • #lockdownPakistan
  • And many others...

But,the more focused # is "stay home, stay safe" and no doubt has become the need of the hour. The more we are being in self-isolation mode, the more we maintain social distancing. With this, the more lives would be saved, and therefore, the less scary the world would become.

The Circumstances

The alarming condition is not “happening” anymore, the Coronavirus is spreading too fast, seeing no bounds, and making everything difficult to control.

Tests are expensive, no vaccine for it, no treatment yet discovered. Even if anyone dies due to #covid_19, the way his body is processed, and buried without having any funeral gathering, or namaz-e-janaza is all that makes it more scary and unbearable.

Every one of us is panicked, depressed, and anxious about our health, our parents and kids more. Since the lockdown announced in multiple provinces, everything is falling down. Moreover, it's the time... Not to enjoy the moments by throwing parties, or by visiting hill-stations.

Questions in mind

It's time to think, why it happened? Why, in no time it spread the world, and killed many people? Why are we being gotten in the trial where everyone is protecting himself first? There are many questions that arose in my mind. And in answer to these queries, some more questions started occupying my mind.

Are we becoming selfish by not taking care of ourselves (more of others, too) by not following the "pre-care instructions"? Are we becoming mean by stockpiling things at the home? Is ALLAH unhappy with us? If so, then how can we make him happy?

Here, we might be thinking, that why ALLAH is unhappy? But, we might have forgotten the Kashmir lockdown, the Palestine condition, human killing in Syria, and we MIGHT HAVE forgotten our silence over these topics as they were not directly related to us, or harming us. Undeniably, it's human nature, we can't feel it until anything directly happens to us. But, ALLAH is All-Seeing, and sadly, we have forgotten it.

Realization and Dua (pray)

Realizing this fact, we are having two prior things to do:
  1. Pray, pray, and just pray...
  2. Repent, repent, and repent...

Indeed, ALLAH is everywhere, He listens to us, and loves us like no one else can. Repentance is the thing that has to be done more, nowadays. I hope, by doing so, we can beat this virus and ALLAH will definitely listen to us and end this virus like it didn't exist.

May Almighty ALLAH, the most beneficial and the most merciful, forgive us all, our sins, our wrongdoings. May we become good Muslims and even better human beings by helping each other in this crucial time. (Amen)

Final words

I know the quarantine life, self-isolation, or you can say it a lockdown, comes up with a deep thought-provoking mindset and eventually, it is positive. Maybe the thoughts make us a better person for later. Maybe, we become more generous, contented, and peaceful, when this lockdown ends, and the situation gets better.

As Healwith_words stated:
"Repent and Repeat. The inner peace revolves around it."

I wish that we can see it very soon (if ALLAH wills). Take care of yourself, take care of your families and your surroundings.

Stay home, stay safe.
