Status, Lifestyle & Us
This is now becoming a norm to have a good status, wearing a brand and live an elite lifestyle. If you are following them all then you are setting up a trend for youngsters. Anyone who is not following any of these has zero status, null value and below average lifestyle.

Lifestyle is, one should have to keep himself/herself updated top to bottom. To keep that lifestyle and to get noticed, wear brands. Trendsetting is wearing a NEW and latest design and becomes a talk of a town. Status is money. Period!

I also like wearing brands but not with the intention to show others. But I have observed people that they like to wear brands and other than that the dress should be of great worth.

Expenditure of money on clothes wasn't as high as before in ratio as now. Unfortunately, this is happening now. People go to the malls and find happiness in buying clothes shoes or whatever of their interest. After using or wearing the stuff  (we were desperate for) only for once or twice, we lose interest. We waste a lot of money on our desired luxury items which have now become the needs and do not consider them Junk Waste. We follow brands in everything either wearable or an eatable.

But in all this, where are WE?

Sometimes I think that what kind of race is this into which we all have got ourselves. Nobody cares about anyone else. We think and wish that what we are wearing, nobody else does wear that no matter how much she likes that thing as well.

Our emotions, feelings have no value now and sadly but status has got that value now. One who is rich in money is respectable because he can set trends, it doesn't matter how much he is poor in his values.

I have heard a lot from my grandmother and then mother that at their time's relations, emotions and feelings were more important and valuable than status. Money was a secondary thing, always took as a need of life. There was simplicity. Everyone used to meet everyone regardless of their status or lifestyles. There were more love, respect, and values. Everybody used to feel okay to wear clothes in the same place, bought together and used to do whatever they wanted but Always Together and made beautiful memories.

Bitter truth

It is what it is now, what we see around is not what it was before. We have lost ourselves somewhere in between brands, lifestyles, and status. Far from each other by heart with all negative thoughts in our minds. Time will pass and we will be empty-handed with memories of how lustful we were.

"Life is beautiful" and it can be made beautiful if we start giving importance to each other and start valuing each other not by status or whatever but by hearts and emotions.

Having a good sense of dressing or belonging to a well-off background is not as bad as they become when limits are crossed. With all these luxuries and benefits, if we own a good character and always keep ourselves down-to-earth then we can emerge as an exceptional personality in the world.
