Nowadays, the most "IN" things are photography, photos, videos, all-n-all the multimedia. The most admiring thing is what we see on different social media platforms on the Internet. We get influenced by them so bad that we want the same thing in our real-life forgetting the fact that actually what we see all over the Internet is reel life. The real behind that reel is outrageous.
But as a matter of fact, every one of us wants an online appearance so desperately that we do everything to make ourselves publicly famous. As we have closed our eyes towards the realities of life and we have started idealizing people we see on the internet. We have now become more focused and careful about our looks, our dressing, etc. rather than having good values and following the norms of our culture and society.
Photography & Me:
If I talk about myself, then you may find contradictions between what I have discussed above and what I am gonna say below. But If I don't speak truth then what will be the cause of being a blogger or a speaker. I am personally very fond of taking pictures of me, making up my face and hair. There was a time when I used to click 20-25 pictures at only one time and chose only a picture or two to upload. LoL!!!
I remember when I used to change my WhatsApp profile 3-4 times a day and I was crazy in that I want to show everyone what I have clicked, How I looked and all that. I remember at times, I used to take a lot of pictures of me and then a phase came when I was least interested in taking pictures of me. But now again I am into it with less exposure and more of my own joy.
But the most private you are with your pictures, etc. the more secure you are. Somehow I feel like less interested in making my appearance on Social Media through my own pictures and looks. Rather than that, I feel more comfortable and happy appearing on the internet through my words and thoughts.
Social Media Era - An Emergence of Exposure
As discussed above, This era is more about exposure and its emergence. Everything that is Eye-Catchy has more value and worth than words and thoughts. I have seen people interested more in makeup tutorials than life-long lessons, blogs or written truths. I have seen on Social Media that people with more exposure to looks have more fan followings than a person with exposure of words. I am not saying this because I am a blogger myself. I am just sharing the thing that was felt and observed. I would have the same thought even if I am not a blogger.
Once I read a quote by Ashfaq Ahmad that "Every problem in this world now is just because of the picture", he continued saying: "A picture we click and people see it, makes the life of those people miserable. As people who can not afford it may wish for something like that and try to find out the ways (mostly the wrong ones) to get it".
Other than the exposure of ourselves, we upload pictures of our foods, places and see no bound. We eat and we post it, we go somewhere and make a video of that place and post it. In spite of the fact that this exposure has given many of the people ways to earn but still I think we are crossing the limits.
End Lines:
Everything in this world is temporary, nothing will last for good. But wasting our time and deeds to such useless things which may be of no benefit for our end (The Hereafter) is not going to be rewarded. Keep yourself reminded that necessary is our moral value.
