Well, if you ask me, then you would probably know my answer... For me, healing lies in words but if you ask my mother, then you will get to know that cooking is everything that can make your way to the heart of a person.

Somehow its true, we all live for food and every time we think, that is only about food and the ways to get it.

Moreover, cooking plays with your mind and every single time you cook, the final look of the dish says: Well Done!

(It happens only if you are good in it.

So, yeah, in a way... It heals and never returns you hopeless.

Yet Again, don't think that I am a poor cook, I am not. For your information, I can make alot of things like:
  • Eggs (both fried & omlete)
  • Noodles
  • Sandwiches
  • Burgers
  • Chocolate Delight
  • Tea
  • A few main course dishes
And, I only understand the relation between healing and cooking, when it gives me good results and appreciation.

Otherwise, cooking is not my cup of tea.

Recalling A First Experience:

Here I want to share a bad memory.

I remember, when I was in school, my mother had to go out of city. She asked me and my sister to cook pea pilaf and kofta gravy.

What happened next is not a very long story, the pilaf was tasteless with no salt and color whereas the gravy wasn't a thick and yummy to eat; however, it seemed like koftas diving in the ocean. Lol!

Ok don't laugh, my family was astonished and failed to give those dishes a name even.

(Anyways that was a past and I have never repeated that mistake again. Though, my sister has become a good cook but the happy part is, I am still the same.)

For instance, just to know more about if cooking heals, I asked my family, and Cooking and Baking experts that if C&B heal, to which they heaved a sigh of relief and said "Yes."

If you really want to get a wing to how cooking heals and what are the benefits. Scroll down!
