My first travel blog, and indeed, the bad experience. Though that is not because of the location, it was all about my own feelings as I wasn’t well.
Day: Saturday (officially not off, I had taken leave just to travel the city of happy-hearted people)
Reason: A cousin’s reception and a sister meet up.
We missed other big functions of the same cousin, too, just because of the reasons, like:
- One – I wasn’t well, having flu and seasonal fever.
- Second – There were a lot other professional commitments.
Anyhow, let’s move on!
Commencement of an Expedition
The day started at 8:30 am, when I woke up, no, it wasn’t started like that.
It was started on Friday night, I made a huge mistake… “I took a bath.”
Don’t be amazed, on a general-routine basis, it is not considered as a mistake, but as long as I was already feeling not pretty well, so, I should have to be careful.
That “bath” was NOT necessarily needed and should’ve been postponed. But, as soon as the “task” was accomplished, I realized the mistake I had made. In other cases, for me, the bath would be like a “blessing in disguise” as it soothes my mind, but that day, it was more like an “adding fuel to the fire.”
So, yeah, my un-wellness started talking to the sky afterward, and I spent the unbearable night. However, when, in the morning, I woke up, I felt better, then, again, that was a “few minutes” feeling and everything went worst.
Story of “On-Way”
I did breakfast, and left for Lahore, with the family. On way to Lahore, the first hour was pathetic for me as I couldn’t find a way out to breathe even. Then, with time, I got stable and the remaining “highway journey” was far much better. In a meanwhile, right after entering the city of Lahore, I got stuck in the bad thing of that locality, which is “the long traffic jam.”
(As I wasn’t feeling happy and good inside, so everything outside was either a negative experience or just a normal happening, for me. Aargh!)
P.s. I don’t know the reason behind, why I just never liked Lahore’s traffic. Don’t panic, it’s solely my own perception.
A meet-up with a sister after a long time
Making way through the traffic on the immensely busy Lahore canal road, we made it to my sister’s home that is currently located at wahdat road. We reach there and had lunch. Lunch was so yummy and we ate it to fill our stomach till night, as there were a lot other pending tasks that needed our approval and to be done, at the very next moment.
I sat with my sister, but couldn’t spend a “good time” with her because, you know…
In an hour or so, we stood up and intended to get ready because there was no time left to the main function (for which we were there).
Me and my bhabi left for a nearby hair salon along with my mother, and we got our hairs done there. By reaching back sister's home, we had just a bit of time to only put on the shoes, so we put them on and left for the specified wedding hall.
Time at the Reception
We met with the relatives there (after a long time), had some conversation, munched dinner and set off for the back journey to the home sweet home in no time.
End of Journey Feelings…
Traveling back home was more exhausting, however, it brought tiresome that I couldn’t speak a word in long three hours. I got back and slept like no other thing did matter (at that time). Very next day, I was much better and took rest for the whole Sunday to make upcoming working days to be performed well.
Hope, you liked my most boring Lahore trip article, but, see this what I also felt. So, just check it out and be a part of my most happening Lahore trip. Wink!
