14 Things I Learned From Life

Being an introvert, sometimes, it's difficult to showcase thoughts that is running in your head.
But simultaneously, it's the only way to let the world know about you. Right?

I had never been like a kid who was born with "a golden spoon in his/her mouth."

Instead, I believe that I was born with the "golden power of observation," which motivated me to become a writer.

No doubt, life has tested me at various points and ALLAH gave me this power to cope with the challenges.

Life has a lot of things in its coat for me, either it's a learning or blessing.

Thus, "life" is the main teacher to me and I learned both undermining and powerful things from it.

In this blog, I will share some interesting things and lessons that I have learned from life:

(And if you relate, then do share your learning journey in the comments section below)

For now, let's begin:

1. The "Always" Smiling Factor Demeans You

This is one of the life experiences that taught me a great lesson. I realized that our gentleness add-in demeaning us in a way that actually hurts. When you smile on everything, others think that whatever they say, it won't disturb you.

2. If You Be So Kind, People Use You As A Carpet

You feel like people are using you like a tissue or a carpet (to walk on) because of your sympathetic nature. It tells you about your value in their eyes. So, beware!

3. You Need To be Consistent If You Want To Be Successful

I believe that! You can't do anything if you are not consistent. So, be consistent with your good cause, and in no days, you would see things changing.

4. Blood Relatives Are Your True Companions

Most important thing I ever learned is, nobody can replace your blood-relations. It doesn't mean other people can't be good. All I say is, parents or siblings have a special place in your heart.

5. You Can't Achieve Your Goals Until You Step-Out

Well, for anything, you want to achieve, you have to do a struggle by sacrificing many things and suffering through hindrances. Ultimately, you have to step out to win and to prove that you can get things you desire.

6. Baby Steps Are Unneglectable

Your dream will remain a dream until you take baby steps to get it. For instance, if you are a writer, then never stop finding little opportunities that can make you a better writer.

7. Nobody Respect You Until You Respect Yourself

Respect is everything! A person can live without love, but no one can survive without respect. So, to get respect, you must first give respect to yourself. This is how, you can get respect from everywhere.

8. Sometimes, You Have To Put Hands On Your Ears

You may hear a lot of things in your life. Some of them are nice, while others are heart-wrenching and cause anxiety. At that time, put hands on the ears and let the peace prevail within you.

9. Speaking Up For Your Rights Is Considered As A Big Sin

Now, if you speak for your basic rights, you would be remembered as an ignorant person who has no manners. Also, asking out for necessities can be your another big sin (in reality, which is not). So, never feel shame and speak up.

10. Usually, People Know Your Worth After You

I have seen people crying for the ones who have left them. Interestingly, the reason (for not staying) is actually the same people who have been seen crying afterward. But, they perceive it in their own way because they think that they are right.

11. You Will Be Judged For Everything You Do

Let's suppose, you are chubby and you have eaten pizza. You know what would people say? They comment after complete judgment: You shouldn't have munched it. It will increase your weight. I mean, what the heck? Why do we judge others so frequently? I know, there is no answer!

In urdu we say:

"Kuch To Log Kahen gy, Logo Ka Kaam Hai Kahna." (Check english translation from google)

12. Money Has More Value Than Relations

No matter how nice you are to others, if you are not wealthy, you are nothing. Your deep feelings lose their meanings as soon as you become poor. But, eventually, the thing that matters the most is whether you are poor or not, you must be a good human being.

13. Some People Take You For Granted

If you know any self-obsessed person, then you might agree with it. Self-love (to some extended level) never let the person think about anyone and that's why, few people take others for granted. For this, be proud of yourself, so no one can underestimate you.

14. You Are Alone In this Life Journey

At times, you feel lonely because no one understands you, but ALLAH. So, it is advisable to make your bond strong with the Only God. Once, you get closer to ALLAH, you will need no one.

In A Nutshell

These are the life lessons I learned from my life. Maybe, your experiences are different. Still, I hope that at some point, you might have felt the same way.
