The intention is an idea or a perception (that can be positive or negative) behind everything we plan to do. As the title says: "Intention is all what you are answerable for" and that's not wrong. The way we perceive different things and how we tend to do them is intention.
Whatever we want to achieve in our lives, there is always a reason or an intention behind achieving that specific goal. So, basically, an intention (or an idea) is the main hero that urges us to do and act accordingly.
Sayings of Famous Personalities On Intentions
Here, we will elucidate a few quotes that will help you understand the truthfulness and significance of "intention" in our lives (even in small matters):
- The Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W.) said, "The reward of deeds depends upon the intention and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for Allah and His Apostle, then his emigration was for Allah and His Apostle. And whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration was for what he emigrated for." - Hadees (Sahih Bukhari, Kitab-ul-Imaan, Hadith No. 53)
- Once, someone asked Hazrat Ali (R.A.): "How have you recognized your God?" To which, He answered: "I recognized ALLAH through revoking the determinations and breaking the intentions." He continued by saying this: "When I determined and I was prevented from achieving my determination, and when I intended and fate contradicted my intention, I realized that the Administrator was other than me."
You will find plenty of authentic quotes over the internet that clarifies the importance of intention. Therefore, I strongly believe that the results/outcomes of your doings depend upon your intention (niyaat).

Get A Wing With A Few Examples
Let’s check a few examples below:
For instance, if you want to top the exams and in order to achieve that goal, you work hard. You will get it, for sure. Good intentions are always being rewarded and help you to achieve your targets. But, if you just want to top the exams so you can degrade anyone else, then despite your hard work, you will lose it. Why? Because your intention was bad. See, this is how it works...
Let's suppose you are intended to fulfill your dream of becoming rich no matter how many people are being hurt in this period of struggle to get through your desire. For a time being, you will actually get what you dreamt of and tried for days and nights. But gradually that thing (money) will start losing its worth in your eyes as well as another thing will take its place very soon. It will end up making money a burden for you. Why? The answer to this question is very simple, that is: because anything you achieve after hurting others can never give you eternal pleasure.
Simply, forever happiness can only get through straight paths, right doings, and is only rewarded to those whose intentions are pure, positive and who don’t hurt others.
Final Words
Make sure, everything you do for yourself or your family; do it with good intentions.
As it is quoted:
“Your continuous efforts and good intentions decide your success.” – Heal With Words
