My Top 9 Guilty Pleasures
Guilty pleasures… Are you new to this term??? Well, you might be… But, once you read about it, you will love to find out your own guilty pleasures.

Yes, as the name says it all, its about the things you love to do but not openly.

The reason can be many… Maybe you are too shy to share your pleasing acts with others or those acts are embarrassing enough to disclose in front of others. Thus, no matter what, it ultimately pleases you and that is the most important thing.

The exact meaning of guilty pleasure is:

A guilty pleasure is an activity or a piece of media that a person enjoys so well, but simultaneously, he/she wouldn’t want anyone to know about this.

Today, I will talk about my funny yet interesting guilty pleasures without which I don’t spend a day.

So, read below to know about them!

Disclaimer: It takes a great amount of courage to talk about “very personal” guilty pleasures on public platforms. So, I would request you all not to judge me on this. Thank You! 😉

1. In My Spare Time, I Stalk

Since my childhood, I have been blessed with plenty of opportunities to stalk and spy on others. Now, as a reader, you would say how evil-minded this girl is. To be honest, I think everything happens for a reason. Through stalking, I learn to observe and analyze situations accordingly. However, you can count this as my guilty pleasure. Therefore, I don’t talk about this openly. Still, whenever I get a chance, I stalk people. 😜

2. I Talk A Lot & Sometimes Irrelevant

Being an observer, I should remain silent. But, sadly, I am totally opposite. I talk a lot when I am confused or want to divert my attention from serious issues of life. Well, sometimes, I speak from nowhere, which end up making my whole point “pointless.” More to that, I have felt, at times, I talk foolish which has nothing to do with a main point that is being discussed. No matter how many times I try to hold on my mouth but when it wants, it speaks up.

Too much realistic approach??? Well, it is important to know about your own pros and cons.

But, hey! Don’t think I am dumb. I have a great sense of humor. You can ask my colleagues and friends about this. 😀

3. For Me Everything Comes After Family

This is not actually a guilty pleasure, but when I am in my friends, it becomes. How? Let me make it clear for you. Let’s suppose your friends plan a get-together, but you always try to cancel the meet-up plan. Why? Because, maybe, you want to spend your time with your parents and family instead of with mates. I am completely a homie person and hardly like to go out and have fun with buddies. That’s why it becomes a guilt (but pleases me from inside).

P.S. my friends would kill me for sure if they read this. 😬

4. I Take A Lot Of Selfies Only When I am Ready

I love taking selfies, so I do capture my own photos, but only when I am ready. Hilarious??? Yeah, I know. Despite of loving makeup so much, I seldom get ready. The amazing thing is when I click my own photos, I delete most of them and keep only 1 or 2 pictures. This is another example of my guilty pleasure. I feel guilty because I delete my photos after clicking them (God knows for what reason), and cherry on the cake is, I never post them all. 😩

5. Late Night Snacks Are My Favorite

I am a foodie, so the only thing I seriously think about is “food.” For instance, when my weekend is coming, I start making plans regarding my mid night snacks. Although, I know this eating habit can make me obese. Still, I can’t help it. Furthermore, I love snacks like candies, crisps, and store-bought biscuits. I munch them like I was starving for several years. Nevertheless, they contain a good number of calories. 😋

6. I Write When I Want To Feel Right

You would say how it can be my guilty pleasure. Well, it is. If you stay with me, you will realize how much I write. I never talk to people about my writing schedule, because sometimes it embarrasses me in front of other people for not having a fun life. As people perceive that writers are boring human beings. Regardless of what people think, writers are too sensitive to talk about their feeling loudly. Trust me, it heals the soul deeply and refreshes the mind.🙂

7. I Binge-Watch Movies On Weekend Night

On every Saturday night, I just lock myself up in the room and watch the whole pending list of tv series, movies or clips for the next 4-5 hours until the sun rises. It fills my heart with a great joy. Alongside this, I am unfolding one more secret here, that is I still love Disney movies. Yes, the Barbie movies, animated series and all such kind of a movies are my most favorite recreational and entertainment source. 😄

8. I Scroll Through Different Social Media Apps

When I am back from my office, I just scroll through my feed (sometimes with one eye closed out of sleepiness). This scrolling habit takes a great portion of my resting hours. Also, in front of my relatives, I become a very decent girl who doesn’t touch her phone after getting back home, and love to spend time with her family. 🙄

9. I Like To Spend Less Money

I am famous for my money-saving techniques. Believe me or not, many friends of mine don’t like THIS aspect of me. But, I personally like this thing about me a lot. Undoubtedly, this habit has embarrassed me in front of people plenty of times. Yet, it pleases me because it aids in managing budget and things accordingly. So, I proudly own this guilty pleasure. 😎
